There are specific conditions and procedures for the import of polyamide and of melamine plastic kitchenware originating in or consigned from China and Hong Kong to GB set up by Regulation 284/2011.
Documents required: Plastics Declaration Document (PDD), analytical test results and commercial documents. Please refer to the regulation for guidance.
Please note, you must notify at least TWO days in advance, checks cannot be done retrospectively on these consignments. Any consignment not pre-notified in advance will be referred inland and not endorsed by Dover Port Health Authority.
